On Saturday I went to the movies.to go watch a movie called Light Side. The movie is about  never giving up and believing in god. So it's basically a church movie.

I went with my mum and my dad. I cried at some bits of the movie. I was sad and happy. I felt happy for no reason. My mum and dad were crying as well. After the movie we went to go eat. We ate pizza and Kfc it was yum! Then we went back home to go sleep for church tomorrow. In the morning I got ready and my brothers got ready as well. We left to go to church. When we arrived we got out of the car and rushed in to church because we were late . If we were late at our church we would have to speak in front of the whole church. After church we went to go eat Kfc.

I wish I could do the whole thing again.

Today I learned about four kids who left their country because natural disasters and war and some other dangerous stuff.But the kid i'm going to write about is Mohibullah . He left his country because of war and fighting . He left his country in 2015 . Where he came from is Pakistan . His dad died . It was hard for Mohibullah because he had no one to talk to, only his mum . He moved to New Zealand. When he arrived to New Zealand no one understood him because he spoke Urdu. But thankfully there were some people who spoke  Urdu. Mohibullah was starting to speak a little English . Mohibullah had to wait for a month to speak English. Mohibullah could speak to his friends and family using online messenger.

Spring Creative Writing

As I am walking I can smell the fresh air. Around me I feel so relaxed and calm. I see butterflies around me and some bees. I feel so so happy I smell the beautiful aroma from the beautiful flowers. The beautiful smells make me want to eat. As I walk I can feel the spring air going inside my hair. Everywhere I go I can smell the flowers it's like it over the whole world. I feel more confident and more beautiful. The intoxicating beautiful smell runs through the whole place. I smell the lovely flowers. It makes me feel like I want to eat because the flowers smell sweet. I feel peaceful . All of the flowers combined is the most relaxing and happy moment of my life.

Spring Acrostic Poem

Spring  is where people come out more often .
People feel relaxed . and clam.
Rain smashing on the floor.
I can breathe in the fresh air .
New beautiful animals are being born .
Gardens grow with beautiful colours .

The Sons of Ma'afu

Today  I was reading a traditional story from Tonga. The story is called the sons of Ma’afu. 

His sons names are Ma'afu toka and Ma'afu lele . The story goes like this. 

Once upon a time there was a chief named Ma’afu he had two sons. They grew up to be strong men and handsome men. But they will always get into trouble . Once they were throwing spears until they threw it anywhere and then it hit someone leg then after, the village got angry because they might hit someone else in the village . 

So the village sent  them to the lake to get water from the bottom of the lake but then they came across a big fat duck. It almost killed them but they killed it with their muscles . Then they took the duck to the village for the village to eat but the villagers were still angry . 

So the chief told them to go to the sea and get water from the bottom of the sea but when they were swimming to the bottom of the sea they got attacked by a triggerfish . The triggerfish almost killed them but they used all their might until one of them stuck there hand in the gills and then the fish stopped they killed the triggerfish and they took it back to back to the village  for them to eat.

The chief said were not safe when they’re around so he sent them away. The sons wanted to be close to their father, so they went to live in the stars alongside the triggerfish and duck.
